Forge Weasley card by Patilda Forge Weasley card by Patilda
At the moment I absolutely refuse to draw Fred again, so it's going to be Forge until I feel like it. :P
BTW, I took 2 weeks to finish this one, so, please, be kind. :)

Forge... Like it the first book when Ron gets his Christmas present.
Fred: "There are no letters on your sweater. I think you won't forget your name. And we are not fools either - we know that our names are Dred and Forge!"

Perhaps the bright on the nose and lip is too hard, but the work is so nice that I love him. Really.
I wanted to kill Rowling when he...

Great -as always.
I like his sort of halfr smirk.
It seems to say something along the way of "Oh yeah? And you seriously believe that already was it?"

Thank you. :)
They're always hard for me, cause they might be identical, but they're not the same. :)

And damn it! I always forget the main thing, what for I started to send a comment. :frustrated:

So.. Maybe a bit more light on the tip of his nose? And on the nostrils. Now there is only a bit light on the sides of nostrils.

But thank you, a great pic!

Oh yees, his hair looks again amazing. :faint:
The eyes too!

And then again, the freckles. May I ask what kind of brush do you use with them?

If you do not already have tried these brushes, I would definitely recommend. ;)
Very good with freckles and other skin pores + hair.

Thank you for your kind words and the brush. :)

But I don't use an especific brush for freckles. Just the default hard round brush from photoshop used in a low opacity in a separate layer. After that, I go with the smudge tool over the freckles and finally set the layer to multiply. That's it. :)

Oh, okay. So, such a organic work. :giggle:

Though, I am quite a newbie with different brushes. Maybe a month ago started to become familiar with them, until that I used only soft/hard round brushes.

Hm, now I need some coffee...

:) That's right.

I like to experiment with brushes, but I could do it a lot more in my opinion. Anywho, sometimes the result sucks. But others it's quit refreshing. :) I like it. :)

Ok. Go and get your coffee.

Yes, it is often just like that with me too. And then if I fail with some brush, I hate them all couple days. :D

(Damn good coffee btw ;D)

I don't know what happened to this one, but everything seemed to go wrong with this one. The skin, the hair, the features.... I didn't think I was going to finish him - and even started another sketch - but, for some reason, today I decided to give it a go and I liked it! :) tsc, tsc... *shakes head*

Haha I know what you mean...drawing the twins can be a huge pain, especially as identical as they are! He actually looks pretty good...I like the colors a lot.

The shadow beneath his nose...both the shadow of the nose itself and the shadow in the dip...look a ltitle too dark and black to me. Perhaps a slight lightning of the shadow, and some skin-tone color in there? Possible a slight bit of blue or purple to give it some dimension?

I really like his facial expression. Just a bit evil and as if he's saying, "Go ahead...just try something. I have plenty up my sleeve."

Oh yeah! :) And because you already drew one of them in 'that' position, you HAVE to draw the other one in a different one, prefferably with a different facial expression. And that's where danger lies. :) I mean, he has to be the same, but not really the same and it sucks. :)

You're right. I'll fix it as soon as possible. :) Thank you.

Awww... I'm glad you like it. :) Thank you so much, my friend.
