I am a little late in this but omg this is how I imagined Harry reading the books. I love your Style of art.

Looks like a Severitus (aka Harry is really Snape's son) idea. What was your inspiration for the long hair ??
Patilda Featured By Owner Mar 13, 2011
It's just that I thought that nearly a year "camping" in the last book, a haircut would have been the last thing on his to do list. :)
While backpacking New Zealand, I noticed that men start the trip shaved and with short hair and end up quite hairry. So, even thou I think Harry would still have found time to shave every now and then, let's say once in a month, :) he might have been a bit liberal with his hair length. :)

This is a miracle: I'm finding Harry an hottie and seeing that he's like the antithesis of anything I find hot....well, let's say it's a celebration of your wonderful talent. Very good job.

:aww: There he is, the little green - eyed . . .:ashamed: Really effective eyes, and the scar is so realistic. I like the slightly defiant gaze . . . .

Very beautiful portrait Pat! I love the style and it actually reminds me of how James should look like, except of course for the eyes!

Do you mind me asking is you are you working in painter or Photoshop?
Patilda Featured By Owner Oct 9, 2009
Thank you, Vero!  :)

Everything with photoshop. I'm trying to use only hard brushes with opacity over 30% and no smudge tool. So far, so good. :)

Yes, it shows an improvement, I am glad for you Pat!

I srsly like that face; the colors, the shading, that nice scar and eyes...
I would only sharpen his hair; it looks smudgy. Other than that, I think it's a sweet job! 8D

Wow...he actually looks pretty cool with long hair! What a cool color you used for his eyes...the eyes you draw are always so awesome. :D I want that ability. :D

HIs hair's way too light for my liking...his hair is naturally black, after all. But that's the only thing I could find to gripe about. :XD:

The texture and detail in those! I see the improvement in your art over the past months and I;m blown away. And not just a bit envious. :XD:
